Keep Walking...

Yesterday evening, I walked the whole way from my office to my home. The distance was around 16kms and I covered it in around 3 hours. The first 8.5kms were covered in 1.5 hours but the next 7.5kms and the 1.5 hours was an ordeal. This stretch had narrow roads and muddy side paths due to rain. But there were also positives from the rain, it was nice and cool and also not much dust flying around.

Wimbledon Final '07

No offence meant to Nadal, but I can't help thinking, how he would have fared at the Wimbledon final if he was up against a genuine serve and volley player.

Watching Wimbledon these days is no different from watching the French Open. Long rallies from the baseline (with heavy topspin). Is the serve and volley brand of tennis dead?

Quote for the day.

Never make someone a priority in your life when you’re only an option in theirs.

Why balme the coach, Sachin ?.

Sachin Tendulkar, your outburst against the coach is childish. Do not try to cover up your repeated batting failures by blaming the coach.

Numbers do not lie and have look at this analysis posted on Cricinfo.

Back to Back Centuries

Ricky Ponting scored a century yesterday against Scotland yesterday. His last innings in a World Cup match before this one was also a century, against India four years ago in the 2003 Final. The time elapsed between these two centuries is more than 4 years!!! and this must be the longest duration for Back to Back centuries to be hit in a World Cup Match.

Well played Ponting!!!.
