Paree...

When my boss called me last Friday evening and told me that there was an urgent problem for a customer which needs to be sorted immediately, I was more than delighted to take up the offer for the company was in Paris.

This was my second trip to Paris.

The trip from Vienna to Paris was exciting as I travelled by Business Class. In Austrian Airlines, the middle row of seats in the Business Class is "Reserved your Comfort". In other words empty. Along with the leg space the business clas offers, dude this is cool.I was the only guy clad in Jeans and T-Shirt and most of the others were business men in their blazers and suits.

The company was in the suburbs of Paris. The first two days were hectic with work and hence no sightseeing.

On the second day night the problem was nailed down!!!. So off to Paris's "Avenue Des Champs-Elysées" shouted my technical contact. This guy was cool.In his late 30s, and as funny as French men can only be.

The temperature was nice and cool and a stroll on the Champs-Elysées was enthralling. Lots of people from different countries walking along and so many famous restaurants and shops lining the sides.

There were lots of pubs of the auto makers. Went to the Renault pub. The newly crowned F1 champions' car was on the display.I was so excited to see it. Took a few pictures of it.(The next day my friend was telling his colleague that I was behaving like a child with a new doll)

We had dinner in a cosy restaurant with a great ambience. The wine my friend chose for us was really superb.
Then on to the Renault pub again. Looked around the different cars and had a coffee and then again a stroll on the Champs-Elysées.
From the middle of the road, a picture of the the Arc De Triomphe. (Not a great picture this one, as I didn't take the tripod along with me and hence couldn't use the night mode of my camera.)

A memorable night.
